The Berchtesgaden National Park is located in southeast Germany in the Free State of Bavaria and borders on the Austrian state of Salzburg. This national park is not like national park in USA, there is no main entrance. So the best way to find the place you want to visit is to find the information station first, and they will give you a very detail map, for free.
The most famous places are Eagle's Nest and lake Konigssee. To visit Eagle's Nest, you have to buy the ticket to take bus to the parking place of Eagle's Nest and take elevator to the top, the price is Euro 14.5 per adult. If you are driving a car, the parking charge is also necessary in lake Konigssee, but we found if you park the car in the Mc Donald just beside the entrance of Konigssee, then free.
Anyway, suggest to visit here after June, you can enjoy more trails and better view in Eagle's Nest....not like us, spent Euro 14.5 and saw nothing........
